Jason B. Transue

     Jason B. Transue, 77, of Caldwell Route 2, died yesterday in a local hospital.
    He was born Feb. 11, 1886, in Waterville, Kan. He grew up on a farm in Kansas and came to Notus in 1908. He did custom threshing and well-drilling for several years. He later farmed in the Dixie community south of Notus and has since made his home in this area.
    Survivors include three brothers, Jesse, Parma, Lee, Caldwell, and Ira, Pierson, Fla. A brother and a sister preceded him in death.
     Services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Parma Peckham-Dakan-Davis Chapel. The Rev. Paul Yadon will officiate. Interment will be in Ten Davis Cemetery. Friends may call at the Parma Chapel from noon until 2 p.m. Monday.
