Goldie Labbee

     CALDWELL - Services for Goldie J. Labbee, 92, of 323 Belmont, who died Monday in a Caldwell nursing home, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell, by Pastor Melvin Johnson and Pastor R. A. Garner of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.  Interment will be at Canyon Hill Cemetery.
     Mrs. Labbee was born April 2, 1883, in Nebo., Ill., and was reared on a farm in Calhoun County, Ill.  In the spring of 1903, she moved with her parents to Nebo, where her father owned and operated a barber shop.  She married Harry A. Labbee July 6, 1903, in St. Louis, Mo., and they lived there for two years.  They moved to Toppenish, Wash., in April 1906, and farmed for several years.  The couple moved to Caldwell in 1910.  She worked at he Idaho State School and Hospital farm from 1922 to 1932 and later for J.R. Simplot Co. for five years.
     She was a member of the Caldwell Seventh-day Adventist Church.
     Surviving are a son, Homer, and a granddaughter, Helen Annette Labbee, both of Huntsville, Ala.
     Memorials may be made to the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
