Garland E. Ward

     Services for Garland E. Ward, 38, of Caldwell Route 1, who died Thursday at his home, are pending at Flahiff Chapel.
     Mr. Ward was born Dec. 4, 1925, at Kuna and attended school at Happy Valley. In 1937, he moved with his family to Ontario, Ore. During World War II he served with the armed forces in Europe and after the war he returned to the family farm at Ontario. He moved to Middleton in 1949, where he farmed with his parents and brothers.
    He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George B. Ward, Middleton; six brothers, Glenn E., Adrian, Ore., Wendell G., Melba, William I. And Darrell E., both at home, George M., John Day, Ore., and Russell L., with the armed forces in Germany; two sisters, Mrs. Marjorie L. Pennington, Middleton, and Mrs. Ila Wilson, Caldwell; 16 nieces and nephews and three great-nieces.
