Frances H. Shannon

     Requiem Mass for Frances H. Shannon, 62, Tacoma, Wash., who died Saturday in a Tacoma hospital, will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul’s Catholic Church. The Rev. Fr. W. Thomas Jones S.M. will be celebrant. Interment will be at Mt. Calvary.
    Rosary devotions will be recited at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Shepherd Mortuary Chapel.
     Mrs. Shannon was born Nov. 18, 1903, in Butte, Mont., and was reared and attended schools there. She was married there to Patrick J. Shannon. They moved to Nampa in 1960, following Mr. Shannon’s retirement.
     She was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Nampa and the Daughters of Isabella at Butte.
    Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Betty Girardi of Tacoma, and Mrs. Jean C. Tharp, Pocatello; two sons, John M. Shannon, both of Nampa; two sisters, Mrs. John (Nellie) Murphy, Butte, and Mrs. Rossie Farrow, Missoula, Mont.; a brother, Edwin Steward, Butte and 25 grandchildren.
