Elver Brewer

     Graveside services for Elver Ray Brewer, 69, of Aberdeen, Wash., who died Thursday, Oct. 15, at an Aberdeen hospital of natural causes, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Canyon Hill Cemetery, Caldwell.
     Mr. Brewer was born Dec. 6, 1917, in Oklahoma.  He moved to Idaho in 1937.
     He married Anna May Roberts in 1938 at Melba, where he farmed until moving to Quinault, Wash., in 1954.  They moved to Nampa in 1971 and to Aberdeen in 1974.
     He had been employed as a shingle packer while living in Washington.  He semi-retired in 1983 and fully retired in 1985.
     He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
     He is survived by his wife of Aberdeen; three sons, Aaron Brewer of Montesano, Wash., Lee Brewer of Lacey, Wash., Larry Brewer of San Francisco, Calif.; a sister, Wanda Redetzke of Caldwell; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
     Friends may call today from 6 to 8 p.m. or Monday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
