CALDWELL – Requiem mass for Mrs. Evelyn Louise Dollarhide,
51, Caldwell Route 4, who died Sunday evening in a Caldwell
hospital, will be said at St. Mary’s Catholic Church at 10
a.m. Wednesday by the Rev. Fr. John Quinn. Interment will be
at Mt. Calvary in Nampa. The rosary will be recited at 8
tonight in Flahiff Chapel.
She was born March 30, 1914, in Royal, Iowa, where she
attended a Catholic grade and high school. She was married
Dec. 2, 1944, in Long Beach Calif., to Harry E. Dollarhide,
and they lived in Lomilla, Calif. She attended Harbor College
in Wilmington, Calif. The couple moved to Caldwell in March
1960, and have been proprietors of Mack’s Service, southwest
of Caldwell.
She was a member of St. Mary’s Parish, the Triple L Club
and the Nampa Lady Elks.
Surviving are Mr. Dollarhide; three sons, Edward Lyle
Wilson of Torrence, Calif., John E. Dollarhide of San Pedro,
Calif. And Gerald W. Dollarhide of Lynwood, Calif.; two
brothers, Danny Doss of Anaheim, Calif., and Dwayne Doss of
Stead Air Force Base, Reno, Nev.; four sisters, Mrs. Donna
Chenney, of Rapid City, S. D., Mrs. Veroica Olsen of Santa
Ana, Calif., Mrs. Monica Bryant of Tulsa, Okla., and Mrs. Lila
Thomas of Sious Falls, S. D., and 11 grandchildren. She was
preceded in death by a son, George W. Wilson, in 1957, at San
Pedro, and by her parents. Memorials may be given to the
American Cancer Society. |
