Mrs. Ethelyn Bales

     Services for Mrs. Ethelyn H. Bales, 67, of 812 N. Michigan, who died Monday in a local hospital, will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Peckham - Dakan - Davis Chapel.  The Rev. Earl W. Riddle of the Caldwell First Methodist Church will officiate.  Interment will be at Canyon Hill.
     Mrs. Bales was born June 13, 1898, in Jordan Valley, Ore., to Mr. and Mrs. Richard H. Hart.  She attended Caldwell schools, and was graduated from the college of Idaho.  She was married to James Tipton Bales March 19, 1931, at Caldwell.
     Mrs. Bales was a member of the Caldwell First Methodist Church, University Guild and the Hi-De-Ho sports trailer club.

     Surviving in addition to her husband, are a sister, Mrs. Ruth F. Linderman, Twin Falls; four nieces, Mrs. Ernestine Glover, Boise, Mrs. Betty Jensen, Caldwell, Mrs. Marjorie Heiss, Jerome, and Mrs. Roberta Garrettson, Gilroy, Calif., and three nephews, Richard Brass, Caldwell, James Fenwick, Ketchum, and Don Fenwick, Twin Falls.  A sister, Mrs. Gertrude Brass, died in 1953.
