Claudia LaLande

     The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Tuesday at Dickard-Shepherd Chapel for Mrs. Claudia Lalande, 74, of 124 Twelfth avenue north, Nampa, who died Monday afternoon at a Nampa hospital.  Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul's Catholic church with  the Rev. Father Robert Turgeon as celebrant.
        Mrs. Lalande was born Sept. 30, 1885 at St. DeEsprie, Quebec, Canada.  She was married to Ulric Lalande, and they moved to Nampa in 1904 from Butte, Mont.  He had operated the French dry cleaners in Nampa until his death in 1920, and she had continued its operation until this year.
     She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic church in Nampa.
     She is survived by five sons, Victor, Eugene and U. C. Lalande, all of Nampa, Roy Lalande, Spokane and Omer Lalande of Auburn, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Isabell Powell of Nampa, Mrs. Florence Wilson of Boise, and Mrs. Eva Groesbeck of Eagle; two sisters, Mrs. Diana Lalande and Mrs.. Georgina Teal, both of New York; a brother, Homer Thuott of New York; 16 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren.
     Interment will be in Mount Calvary.
