Charlotte Gibson

    Rosary for Charlotte Gabica Gibson, 70, of 410 Firwood Place, Nampa, who died Sunday, Dec. 18, at a Nampa hospital, will be recited at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Flahiff Funeral Chapel of Nampa, with the Rev. James L. Pratt. S.M., of St. Paul's Catholic Church.
    Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul's, by the Rev. Merle J. Fisher, S.M.  Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
    She was born Feb. 1, 1913, at Boise, a daughter of Elias and Valentine Uberuaga Gabica and was reared in Nampa.  She attended St. Paul's Catholic School and Nampa High School, graduating in1932.
    She then attended Link's School of Business in Boise. She was a secretary at Falk's I.D. in Nampa, and later for the city engineer's office. She was a receptionist for Dr. Joseph Saltzer for many years. She served in the Women's Army Corps during World War 11. She married C. Frank Gibson on Sept. 3, 1950, at Nampa, where they had since resided.
    She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church.
    She is survived by her husband of Nampa; a brother, Richard Gabica of Nampa; two sisters, Mrs. Don (Louise) Storey of Meridian; Mrs. Willis (Alice) Tipton of Ontario; five nieces, Diane Richards, Inez Jaca, Marilynn Jacobson, Margene Eiguren and Lisa Tipton; a nephew, Rhett Tipton; and 10 great-nieces and great-nephews.
    Her parents preceded her in death.
    Memorials may be made to Mt. Calvary Cemetery, to a favorite charity, or flowers may be sent.
    Friends may call at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel of Nampa Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Thursday until 10:30 a.m.
