Bessie McMahon

     NAMPA – Rosary devotions for Bessie McMahon, 85, of 304 W. Roosevelt Ave., who died Wednesday in a Nampa hospital, will be conducted at 3 p.m. today at the Flahiff  Funeral Chapel, Nampa.
     Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Leroy Fox, S.M., as celebrant.  Interment will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
     Miss McMahon was born May 27, 1886, at Aurora, Neb., where she was reared and educated.  She moved to Nampa in 1909 and was employed as a retail clerk at the Nampa Department Store.  She moved to Boise in 1931, where she worked at The Mode Ltd., until her retirement in 1958.  She moved to Nampa in April of 1970.  She was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church.
     Surviving are a brother, Ray E. McMahon, Nampa; two sisters, Hazel McMahon, Nampa, and Mrs. C.A. (Laura) Johnson, San Francisco, and a niece, a nephew, seven grandnephews and a grandniece.
     Friends may call at the Nampa Flahiff Chapel this afternoon and evening until service time Saturday.
