Beatrice Fessner

    Services for Beatrice "Bea" Fessner, 72, Homedale, who died Wednesday July 4, in a Nampa hospital, will be conducted 10:30 a.m. Saturday, at St. Hubert's Catholic Church, Homedale, by Father Merle Fisher, S.M., of St. Paul's Catholic Church, Nampa.  Interment will follow in Wilder Cemetery under the direction of Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Homedale.
    She was born Dec. 19,. 1911, at Junction, Idaho, to George and Mary Elizabeth Walker Erwin.  She was reared and educated in the Homedale area and graduated from Caldwell High School.  She attended the College of Idaho.  On July 17, 1933, she married Ernie Fessner at Nampa and the couple made their home on a farm near Homedale.  They operated a Veltex gas station in Homedale for several years.  In 1952 they moved to Fruitland where they operated a motel.  In 1956 they returned to Homedale.  She worked at Whorten's Grocery Store in Homedale for many years.  Mr. Fessner died in April 1975.  She was a member of St. Hubert's Catholic Church, Homedale, and was a member of the Altar Society at the church.
    She is survived by a daughter, Marie Orr, Homedale; three half-sisters, Dele Gray, Aileen Fox and Helen McVicker, all of Boise; three grandchildren, Mike Buck, Danita Orr and Dwayne Orr; and numerous nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by a son, LeRoy in 1967, and a half-sister and a brother.
    Friends may call at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel in Homedale Friday, from 1 to 8 p.m.
