Rosary devotions for Aloisie
Hruska, 83, of Nampa, who died Saturday, Dec. 29, in a Boise
nursing home, will be recited at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Flahiff
Funeral Chapel of Nampa.
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m.
Wednesday in St. Paul's Catholic Church, Nampa. The Rev.
Merle J. Fisher, S.M., will be the celebrant. Interment will
follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Mrs. Hruska was born June 10, 1901, in Czechoslovakia, to
Joseph and Agnes Sramek Tycz, where she was reared and
attended school. She came to East Bernard, Texas, in 1914,
then returned to Czechoslovakia for a time, and permanently
immigrated to Texas in 1917. She married John F. Hruska on
Jan. 16, 1921, in East Bernard and they made their home in
Texas until homesteading at Taber, S.D. in 1921.
They moved to Nampa in 1937 where she worked as a
dietician at Mercy Hospital and later worked for the J.R.
Simplot Food Processing Plant at Caldwell. Mr. Hruska died
Feb. 20, 1964. Following her retirement, she made her home in
Nampa until 1980 when she entered a nursing home in Boise.
She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church.
She is survived by five sons, John J. Hruska, James C.
Hruska and Laddie C. Hruska, all of Boise, Clarence J. Hruska
of Mercer Island, Wash., and George J. Hruska of Colorado
Springs, Colo. ; two daughters, Agnes Bixby and Georjcan
Tomline, both of San Diego, Calif.; three brothers, Charles
Tycz of Tyndall. S.D., Laddie Tycz of Ogden, Utah, and John
Tycz of Buckley, Wash.; two sisters, Lillian Schmit of Nampa
and Agnes Winklesky of Brigham City, Utah; 16 grandchildren ;
seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A son, Joseph, three brothers and a sister preceded her in
death.
Friends may call until 9 p.m. tonight; Tuesday from 4 to 9
p.m. and Wednesday until 10:30 a.m. at Flahiff Funeral Chapel
of Nampa. |
