Rosary devotions for Anna K. Korn, 98, Nampa, who died Thursday,
Jan. 24 in her home, will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at
Flahiff Funeral Chapel of Nampa.
Mass
of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at
St. Paul's Catholic Church,
Nampa.
The Rev. Merle J. Fisher, S.M., will be the celebrant.
Interment will follow
at Mt.
Calvary
Cemetery.
Mrs.
Korn, a homemaker, was born Nov. 5, 1886, in
Verona, Mo., to
Ignacius and Kathryn Lomar Knoblauch, and was reared and
attended school in Verona.
She
married Wencel Korn on Nov. 11, 1909, in
Verona where they lived until moving to
Idaho in 1919.
They farmed until moving into
Nampa
in 1947. Mr. Korn
died July 12, 1960.
She was a member of St. Paul's
Catholic Church and of
St. Paul's Altar Society.
She is
survived by seven sons, Lou Korn of Nampa, James Korn of
Caldwell. Mark Korn of
Bothel, Wash.,
Thomas Korn of Salem,
Ore., Tony Korn of Nampa, Edward Korn of
Santa Maria, Calif., and Leo Korn of Enterprise, Ore.; two sisters,
Eleanora Kellner of Evergreen, Colo., and Genevive Fattier of
Redondo Beach, Calif.; 43 grandchildren; 53
great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
One
son, Father Method Korn, three brothers, two sisters, one
grandchild, one great-grandchild and her parents preceded her
in death.
Memorials may be made to St. Gertrude's Convent.
Cottonwood,
Idaho, or flowers may be sent.
Friends may call at Flahiff Funeral Chapel of Nampa Saturday
until 6 p.m., Sunday from 1 until 9 p.m., and Monday until
10:30 a.m.
