Rosary for Anna Kolar, 96, of Nampa, who died Saturday,
Jan. 12, in her home, will be recited at 7:30 tonight in
Flahiff Funeral Chapel of Nampa.
Mass
of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at
St. Paul's Catholic Church by the Rev.
Alfred Puccinelli, S.M. Burial
will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery,
Nampa.
Mrs. Kolar
was born Oct. 30, 1888, in Kjakovic, Czechoslovakia,
and at age 18 came with her family to Friendship, Wis.
She married Vaclav L. Florian in 1906 in Friendship.
They moved to LaCrosse, Wis., where they lived for 10 years until moving in 1917
to Nampa
where she resided on Madison Avenue for 34 years. Mr. Florian
died in 1930.
She married Joseph Kolar in 1931 in Nampa and they moved to
her present residence at
715 13th Ave. S. in 1951. Mr. Kolar
died in 1962.
She was a member of St. Paul's
Catholic Church, of St. Paul's
Altar Society, the Catholic Women's League and of the Beseda
(Czech) Club of Nampa and had been a
Nampa
resident for more than 67 years.
She
is survived by three sons, Alois Florian of Philadelphia, Pa.,
James Florian of Santa Cruz, Calif., and Frank Florian of
Boise; two daughters, Elsie Florian of Philadelphia and Mamie Sedlacek of
Nampa; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren;
several nieces and nephews; and a dear friend, Mrs. Frances
Zacek of Nampa.
Her
parents, one son, Johnny, two brothers, one sister, a
daughter-in-law and a son-in-law preceded her in death.
Memorials may be made to the Nampa Senior Citizens Center,
1305 Third St. S.; to Mt. Calvary
Cemetery; to a favorite
charity; or flowers may be sent.
Friends may call at Flahiff Funeral Chapel of Nampa until 9
tonight and until 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.
