TOZIERS
Ed Tozier came from Scotts Mills, Oregon, to Greenleaf in January, 1907.
He was the first young man to convince a Greenleaf young lady to leave
all else and help him make a new home in this new community when he and
Hulda Cox were married in her home by her father. Two children, Ila and
Homer, enlarged the family to four members. Homer drowned while he
was quite young. Ila went to Taylor College in Indiana where she met her
husband, Robert Eakers. After college, they served as missionaries
in Africa. Because of the sacrificial love that Ed held for people and
his Lord, he gave all his earthly possessions to the spread of the
gospel.
