Ira Collins

     Graveside services for Ira Collins, 74, of Parma, who died Thursday, July 17, at a Boise hospital of natural causes, will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Parma Cemetery.  The Rev. Nixon Knight of the Fist Baptist Church of Boise will officiate.  Services are under the direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
     Mr. Collins was born march 21, 1912, at Willow Springs, Mo., to Henry and Theresa Harris Collins.  He was raised at Willow Springs and came to the Parma area in 1936, where he worked on various farms in the area.
     He married Rosetta Seiber in 1937.  She died in 1953.
     He later married Agnes Ashcraft in 1961 in Caldwell.  They moved to Donnelly in 1969, where he was a ditch rider for several years.  They returned to Parma in February of 1986, where they have since resided.
     He is survived by his wife of Parma; a son, Ralph Collins of Parma; two daughters, Anna Eveland of Nampa and Vickie Schulkoski of Island Park, Idaho; two stepsons, Dean Ashcraft of Springville, Utah, and Don Ashcraft of Donnelly; a stepdaughter, Alice Ashcraft of McCall; two sister, Sarah Scarborough of Willow Springs and Edith Moore of California; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
