Wesley O. Croy |
Wesley O. Croy, 73, of
247 Owyhee St., Nampa, died Thursday afternoon at a Nampa
hospital after a brief illness.
He was born Dec. 11, 1885, at Bagnell, Mo., and moved
with his family to Heyburn, Idaho area in 1905. In 1915
he moved to Boise. He married Margaret McNulty on April
19, 1921, at Boise.
She preceded him in death Feb. 5, 1959 by just a week.
He worked for the Idaho Power Co. at the Swan Falls
plant for three years, and for the rest of his life worked for
the Union Pacific Railroad as a signal maintainer until his
retirement in November of 1952.
He moved to Nampa in October of 1933 where he had since
made his home.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. E. Frances Idom, of
Nampa; four sons, Harold V. Croy of Nampa, Leonard T.
Croy, of Boise, John W. Croy of Artesia, Calif., and Robert E.
Croy of Denver, Colo. Requiem High Mass will be
celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul's Catholic Church
with the Rev. Fr. Robert Turgeon as celebrant. The
Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Monday at the Dickard-Edmunds
Chapel in Nampa. Interment will be at Mt. Calvary
Cemetery. |
