Graveside services
for Wanda, J. Dillon, 52, of Boise, who died Tuesday June 11,
in a Boise hospital, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the
Wilder Cemetery, Wilder.
The Rev. Jim McMillan of the Caldwell Free Methodist
Church will officiate, under the direction of Flahiff Funeral
Chapel, Caldwell.
Mrs. Dillon, a nurse was born Dec. 1, 1932, in Ava, Mo.
She moved with her family to the Arena Valley in 1940 where
they lived for several years before moving to Wilder. She
attended high school in Wilder.
She married Arthur W. Sexton on Dec. 3, 1947, in Caldwell.
They lived in Caldwell where she took nursing training at the
Caldwell Memorial Hospital. She worked as a LPN at Caldwell
Memorial Hospital for many years and for several Caldwell
doctors in Caldwell.
She married Richard Dillon on June 6, 1958, in Wilder.
They made their home in Caldwell for a year before moving to
Boise. They moved to Salt Lake City in 1973 and returned to
Boise in 1979.
She was a member of the Memorial Park Baptist Church,
Caldwell.
Survivors include her husband of Boise; two sons, Fred
Sexton and Randy Joe Dillon, both of Boise; two stepsons,
Ronald D. Dillon and Rick Dillon, both of Nampa; a daughter,
Jeanne Pepper of West Valley City, Utah: a stepdaughter,
Marsha Caldwell of Nampa; her mother, Alta Hodge of Wilder;
six brothers, Doyle Hodge of Caldwell, Delbert Hodge of
Weiser, Fred Hodge Jr. of Coquille Ore., Bill Hodge of
Fruitland, Earnie Hodge of Payette and Robert Hodge of Notus;
two sisters, Shirley Blood of Caldwell and Pat Looney of
Ontario, Ore.; 11 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and
nephews.
Her father and a nephew preceded her in death.
Memorials may be made to the Mental Health Association.
