Services for William
J. Anders, 51, of Golden, Colo., formerly of Caldwell, who
died Wednesday, May 23, at Golden of natural causes, will be
conducted at 3 p.m., Tuesday at the Treasure Valley Christian
Church, 2915 S. Montana Ave., Caldwell. Dr. Larry Crist,
member of the Treasure Valley Christian Church will officiate.
Interment will follow in the Wilder Cemetery, under the
direction of Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
He was born Oct. 12, 1932, in Caldwell, to William and
Garnet Anders. He was reared and educated in Caldwell
and graduated from Wilder High School in 1950. He
received a degree in chemistry at the University of Arizona in
1954, a master's degree from the College of Idaho and a Ph.D.
from the University of Missouri. He worked for the
federal government before entering the construction business.
Previous to his death, he was working with mineral
investments. He attended the Riverside Baptist Church,
Denver, Colo.
He is survived by his wife Ruth of Golden; two sons,
Dirk Anders of Coppell, Texas, and Fritz Anders of Aurora,
Colo.; two daughters, Corey Anders of Golden, and Karla
McWilliams of Castle Rock, Colo.; one granddaughter, Angela
McWilliams; and his father, William C. Anders of Caldwell.
He was preceded in death by his mother and step-mother.
Friends may call at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell,
on Monday from 1 to 6 p.m. and Tuesday from 9 a.m. to noon. |
