Graveside services for Mrs. Vera Benson Breckenridge, 90, of
Nampa, who died Thursday, June 27, 1991 at a Nampa care
center, will be conducted Monday, July 1, at 10:30 a.m. at
Canyon
Hill Cemetery,
Caldwell.
Pastor David Schmidt of the Nampa
Zion Lutheran Church
will officiate. Services are under the direction of Alsip
funeral Chapel, Nampa.
Vera Benson Breckenridge was born Oct. 23, 1900, at
Mankato,
Minn., to Charles and Lizzie
Morris. She moved with her parents to Caldwell in 1917 and
settled in the Sunny Slope community. Vera married Herschel
Benson in Nampa in 1927. They farmed in the Lakeview
community until 1947 when they moved to Sunny Slope, then to
Caldwell in 1969. Mr. Benson died in 1978. She moved to
Nampa and married John Breckenridge in July 1979. He passed
away Sept. 1, 1981. Vera worked as a homemaker her entire
married life and cared for her mother until she died, also at
age 90.
She is survived by a step-daughter and son-in-law, Wanda
and Martin Krueger of Nampa.
Friends may call at the Alsip Funeral Chapel today from
9 a.m.
to 9 p.m. and Monday from 8 to 9 a.m. |
