Teresa Aschenbrenner

     Teresa M. Aschenbrenner, 89, of Nampa, died Saturday, March 29, a997, at a Nampa hospital.  Vigil service will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, at Persons-Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Nampa.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Nampa.  Rev. Father Alfred Puccinelli, S.M. will officiate.  Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
     Teresa was born March 4, 1908, at Leona, Wisconsin, a daughter of Joseph and Mary Wenzel Aschenbrenner.  Her family moved to Idaho Falls where she attended school until 1922 when the family moved to Nampa.  Teresa graduated from Nampa High School with the Class of 1926.
     Teresa was very devoted to her family and enjoyed tending her animals and flowers.  She was in charge of the flowers for St. Paul's Catholic Church for many years.  As the family started another generation, Teresa helped raise her nieces and nephews.
     Survivors include four brothers, Albert of Upland, Calif., Rudy of Twin Falls, Tony of Portland, Ore., and Leonard of Meridian; a sister, Marie of Nampa, and numerous nieces and nephews.
     She was preceded in death by her parents, and seven brothers, Rupert, Edward, Frank, Joseph, John, William and George.
     Memorials may be made to St. Paul's Catholic Church Building Fund.
     Friends may call today until 9 p.m. and Wednesday until 9 p.m. at Persons-Flahiff Funeral Chapel.
