Tabitha J. Hoots

     Services for Mrs. Tabitha Jane Hoots, 52, Wilder, who died Sunday at a local hospital, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Peckham-Dakan-Davis chapel.  The Rev. Charles E. Allen of the Wilder Golden Gate Baptist church will officiate.  Interment will be in Wilder.
     Mrs. Hoots was born Oct 9, 1907 in Cabool, Mo., where she grew up and was married to Clovis Hoots on March 2, 1924.  In 1926 the family moved to Parma where they lived for four years before moving to Wilder, where they have since resided.
     Survivors, in addition to her husband, Clovis Hoots, Wilder, include two sons, Ted Hoots, Ontario, and Pete Hoots, Caldwell; four daughters, Jean Horn, Homedale, Joyce Hunt, Portland, Ore., Dixie Howell, Marsing, and Betty Ubina, Whittier, Calif.; her parents, Mr. and Mrs George H. Brown, Caldwell; four brothers, John Brown, Caldwell, Ray Brown, Kansas, Elmo, Fresno, Calif., and Richard, Caldwell; four sisters, Mrs. Doris Ring, Wyoming, Eunice Moore, Caldwell, Mary McDaniel, Madras, Ore., and Blanche Cole, Jerome, and 17 grandchildren.
