Graveside services for
Tommie Floyd Austin, 43, Marsing, who died Tuesday, May 8, at
Grand Rapids, Mich., of natural causes, will be conducted at 3
p.m. Friday at Knowlton Heights Cemetery, Caldwell, under the
direction of the Dakan Funeral Chapel.
Mr. Austin was born Dec. 28, 1940, to John and Georgia
Austin in Pyatt, Ark. He came to Idaho in 1957. He
married Nina A. Shippy in Payette on Aug 1, 1959. He was
employed by Transcontinental Transport Inc. of Boise. He
was a member of the Followers of Christ Church of Caldwell.
He is survived by his wife of Marsing; four sons,
Richard of Meridain, David and Mike of Caldwell, and Sam of
Marsing; his mother, Georgia Austin of Outlook, Wash., one
sister, Johnnie (Tooties) Gosselin of Spokane; two brothers,
Dan of California, and Billy Joe of Outlook; and five
grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Steven Floyd Austin,
and his father, John.
Friends may call at the chapel Friday from 11 a.m. to 2
p.m. |
