          Emmett Mower

     MIDDLETON  (Special) - Emmett Mower passed away at the Caldwell sanitarium early Sunday morning after a short illness.  Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Methodist church in Middleton and interment was in the Middleton cemetery.
     Mr. Mower was born in Bloomingdale, Mich., in August, 1853.  He was married to Miss Hattie Hosteter March 31, 1876.  They moved to Nebraska in 1876.  They moved to Nebraska in 1878 and later to Tacoma, Wash.  They came to Middleton 27 years ago and homesteaded the place where they had (been farming.)
     He is survived by his widow and five children.  Mrs. Pearl Del?ing of Seattle, Wash., Mrs. Elva Easterly of Everett, Wash., Horace Mower of Caldwell, Mrs. Blanche Strunk of Nampa and Elery Mower of Nampa.
