Sarah Cantrell

      Services for Sarah Triffie Cantrell, 88, of Rupert, who died Sunday, March 10, at a Rupert hospital, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Rupert Assembly of God Church.  The Rev. Leamon Ferguson will officiate.
     Graveside services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the Wilder Cemetery.
     Mrs. Cantrell was born Sept. 15, 1896, in Marshfield, Mo., the daughter of John and Anna Johnson Cantrell.  She received her education in
Missouri.
     She married William Riley Cantrell in 1915 in
Marshfield.  They moved to Meridian in 1945, and to Wilder in 1949, where she resided until 1974, when she moved to Rupert, where she has since resided.
     Mr. Cantrell died in 1971.
    She was a member of the Rupert Assembly of God Church.
     She is survived by four sons, Elston Cantrell of Boise, Wayne Cantrell of Washington, Dale Cantrell of Heyburn and John Cantrell of Norland; four daughters, Opal Tomlin of Boise, Lorene Whittington of Heyburn, Reba McDonald, Boise and Shirley Holderness of Fruitland; two brothers, Denton Cantrell and Everett Cantrell, both of Missouri and Edith Waller of California; 48 grandchildren and 62 great grandchildren.
     She was preceded in death by two sons, a daughter and three brothers.
    Friends may call at Hansen Mortuary, Rupert, today from 1 to 8 p.m., and at the church in Rupert one hour prior to the services on Thursday, and at the Crossroads Assembly of God Church in Wilder Friday from 1 to 2 p.m.
