Services for Mrs.
Suffrona Shippey George, 76, of Payette, who died at her home
Tuesday, will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Lake
Lowell Followers of Christ Church. John Eels of Marsing
will officiate. Interment will be in Knowlton Heights
cemetery under the direction of Peckham-Dakan-Davis Chapel.
Mrs. George was born July 10, 1882, in Iowa, and moved
to Oklahoma with her parents when she was a child.
She was married to Guy George, July 24, 1926, at
Fairview, Okla.
They lived at La Veta, Colo., and Enid, Okla.,
before moving to Payette in September of 1952.
She was a member of the Followers of Christ Church.
Survivors in addition to her husband, are a brother, W.
W. Shippey, of Weiser; a sister, Mrs. Susie Morris, of
Enid, Okla. |
