Sandra Alsup

Sandra Marie Alsup, 47, of Nampa, died Monday, August 7, 1995, at a Nampa hospital of natural causes.  Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, August 11, 1995, at Dakan Funeral Chapel in Caldwell.  Bishop Darell Christensen of the Caldwell Fourth Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will officiate.  Interment will follow at Canyon Hill Cemetery, Caldwell.
Sandra was born January, 21, 1948, at Caldwell, Idaho, the daughter of Doc and Marie Alsup.  She attended Red Top Grade School in the Dixie Community, the Easter Seals School in Boise and later the Merri Lyn School in Caldwell.
Sandra was very special to those who knew and loved her. Despite her limitations, she was a very happy person and always had a smile for those she met.  Music played a very special part in her life.  She loved to sing along and never tired of hearing her favorite song, Silent Night.  We shall remember the happy times and treasure every memory of our years together.
Sandra is survived by her parents, Doc and Marie Alsup of Caldwell; her brother, Bob and his wife, Linda of Auburn, Washington; her sister, Judy and her husband, Philip Allen of Caldwell; her nieces, Dawna Michelle and Jennifer Alsup and Janell Allen; two nephews, Travis Allen and Steven Alsup; and several aunts, uncles and cousins who all had a special place in her heart.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
Sandra's family would like to extend a special thanks to the nurses, staff and residents of Midland Care Center of their living care and friendship during the past three years; to the late Dr. Brown of Nampa, a very special note of thanks for his 20 years of care, dedication and support; and also our thanks to the emergence room and I.C.U. staff at Mercy Medical Center for their care and compassion shown in Sandra's final hours.
Memorial contributions may be made in Sandra's name to the Primary Children's Medical Center, 100 North Medial Drive, P.O. Box 58249, Salt Lake City, UT 84158-0249; or to the Elk's Rehabilitation Hospital, P.O. Box 1100, Boise, Id 83701-9958.
Sandra's family will greet their friends at Dakan Funeral Chapel in Caldwell from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
