Sophia Wirth, 75, Box
241, Homedale, Idaho, died Saturday morning at Caldwell
Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Wirth was born April 24, 1884, in Arkansas.
She was married To Frank Long in 1908 at Jefferson City, Mo.
He died in Orville (Oroville?), Calif., in 1948. She was
married to Leslie Wirth in Reno, Nev., in 1951. They
made their home in Orville, Calif., and Corning, Calif.,
before moving to Homedale in 1958.
Mrs. Wirth was a member of the VFW Auxiliary in
Corning, Calif., and attended the LDS Church in that city.
Survivors include her husband, Leslie T. Wirth;
one sister, Alice Jackson, of Otis, Colo.; two brothers,
W. W. Gilbert, Stockton, Mo., and Percy Gilbert of Hoxie,
Kans.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday June 16, at
Peckham-dakan-Davis Chapel, with Bishop Laurel Leavitt of
Homedale officiating. Interment will be at Wilder. |
