Ricardo Fernandez, Jr., 27, of Wilder, died Thursday, April
17, 1997, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident,
near Homedale. Vigil services will be held at 7 p.m.,
Monday, April 21, 1997, at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, April
22, 1997, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Caldwell.
Father Enrique Terriquez will officiate. Interment will
follow at the Wilder Cemetery, Wilder, Idaho.
Ricardo was born February 22, 1970, in Caldwell, a son of
Ricardo and Maria Elizondo Fernandez, Sr. The
family moved to Wilder in 1973 and he was reared and educated
there, graduating from Wilder High School and he attended
Boise State University for one year. He married Alicia
Sanchez on November 12, 1993, in Caldwell. Ricardo was
presently employed at Fleetwood Homes of Idaho. He
enjoyed fishing and sports.
Ricardo is survived by his wife, Alicia, of Wilder; a son,
Ismael, and a daughter, Mariza, of Wilder; his parents,
Ricardo and Maria Fernandez, Sr., of Wilder; one sister and
brother-in-law, Cristina and Elias Oropeza, of Caldwell; his
maternal grandparents, Jose and Beatriz Elizondo, of Texas,
his paternal grandmother, Alicia F. Fernandez, of Texas; two
nieces, Gab rielle and Alexandra Oropeza, of Caldwell.
He was preceded in death by his Paternal grandfather and two
uncles.
His smile and wave will be greatly missed. |
