Ruth Camden

      Ruth M. Camden, 77, of Homedale, died Friday, Nov. 19, 1993, at the Caldwell hospital.  Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 23, 1992 at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Homedale.  Rev. Kenneth Pitts of Nampa will officiate.  Interment will follow at the Wilder Cemetery.
      Ruth M. Camden was born Sept. 15, 1916 in Scott county, Virginia, a daughter of John Edward and Martha England.  She married Thomas C. Vanzant on Sept. 20, 1942 and they had one son, Bobby Dewayne.  Ruth moved her family west in 1954 and Mr. Vanzant died in 1958.  She raised her son in Homedale and in 1974 married George Camden of Sweet Home, Oregon.  they resided there for six years, returning to Homedale in 1980.
      Ruth always enjoyed her friends and as a young woman taught singing.  She was a member of the Baptist Church.
      Survivors include her husband, George of Homedale; a son, Bob of Meridian; two step-daughters, Ethel Pearce of Emmett and Kate Chambers of Lebanon, Mo.; five grandchildren; a brother, Worley England of Kingsport, Tenn. and several nieces and nephews.

      Friends may call Monday from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Homedale.
