CALDWELL - Services
for Mrs. Pearl Elizabeth Jessen, 82, of 507 Freeport, who died
Friday at a Caldwell hospital following an illness, will be
conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday t the Flahiff Chapel by the Rev.
Ernest Chamberlain, pastor of the First Christian Church.
Interment will follow at Middleton Cemetery.
Mrs.. Jessen was born Feb. 3, 1885, at Winnebago
County, Ill. She was married to Jesse Jessen on Feb. 7,
1903, at Granada, Colo. The came to Caldwell in March of
1907 and settled on a homestead in the Black Canyon district
in 1909 and moved to Knowlton Heights community in October of
1926. They returned to Caldwell in March, 1938, where
they farmed. Mr. Jessen died June 12, 1959, at Caldwell.
She attended the First Christian Church in Caldwell.
Survivors include four sons, David A., Ray L. and
Clarence W. Jessen, all of Caldwell, and Clifton R. Jessen,
Nampa; a daughter, Mrs. John Scheuffle of Twin Falls;
a sister, Mrs. Edna Henderson of Plover, Iowa; four
half-sisters, Mrs. Frank (Della) Ihli and Mrs. Ralph (Ruth)
Colvard, both of Caldwell, and Mrs. Fern Trunnell of Notus and
Mrs. Fay Blonshire of Priest River, Idaho; two
half-brothers, Andy Myers of Nampa and Jesse Myers of
Caldwell; 13 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren. |
