Perry D. Hadsall, 83,
pioneer Middleton resident, died at the family home in
Middleton Tuesday at 8:30 p. m. after a long illness.
He was born in Saunders county, Ill., April 21, 1859,
the son of Gordon C. and Nancy Garner Hadsall. In 1895
he came to Middleton where he has continued to reside.
He was a stone mason by trade and was also the raiser of fine
horses. He was a charter member of the Middleton
Methodist church and was a member of Middleton Grange No. 6.
For the past 11 years, Mr. Hadsall has been the sexton of the
Middleton cemetery.
Survivors include his sife, Myrtle Hadsall, Middleton;
three daughters, Miss Beulah Hadsall and Mrs. Ona Foote,
Middleton, and Mrs. Murnie Walker, Oakland, Cal.; four
sons, Ralph Hadsall, Coquille, Wash.; Guy Hadsall,
Denver; Archie Hadsall, Nampa; Wesley Hadsall,
Middleton; two sisters, Mrs. Sadie Furneaux,
Portland. Mrs. Hadsall died Nov. 12, 1882, and Mr.
Hadsall was married to Mrs. Myrtle Mackey at Lebanon, Ore.,
March 2, 1931.
The body is at the Peckham chapel. Services will
be held at the Middleton Methodist church, Friday at 2:30 p.m.
The Rev. C. A. Quinn, Middleton pastor, assisted by the Rev.
E. Rohn of Caldwell, will officiate. Interment will be
in the Middleton cemetery. |
