    Funeral services for Nellie R. Eason, 73, of Parma, who died Tuesday, July 31, 1990 at the Nampa hospital, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell, with Pastor Larry Ragains officiating. Burial will follow at the Wilder Cemetery, Wilder.
     Mrs. Eason was born Aug. 22, 19
16 at Benkelman, Neb., a daughter of Lawerance C. and Sylvia Jones McDermott. She married Floyd Eason Aug. 6, 1934, at Grand Junction, Colo. The couple moved to Nyssa, Ore., in 1937 where they farmed. They moved to the Apple Valley near Parma in 1947 and then east of Parma in 1951 where they continued farming and had since resided.
     She was a member of the Owyhee Riding Club in 1944. She enjoyed working with her hands, knitting, crocheting, painting, sewing and also gardening.
     She is survived by her husband Floyd of Parma; three sons, Cecil G. Eason of Nyssa, Charles I. Eason of Kendallville, Ind., and Jimmy A. Hubbard of Sumner, Wash.; a daughter, Velma M. Moore of Nyssa; three brothers, Jerry McDermott of Meridian, Larry McDermott of Pinehurst, Idaho, and Bud McDermott of Albany, Wash.; five sisters, Beulah Voss of Sunnyside, Wash., Ruby Bailey of Coos Bay, Ore., Velma Derrick of British Columbia, Canada, Verla Baxter of Kennewick, Wash., and Alla Province of Caldwell; eight grandchildren, Wade Johnson, Cindy Asumendi, Jacklyn Eason, Mark Johnson, Christine Child, Jr. Moore, Debbie Eason and Jessica Eason; 12 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
     She was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Alvin, and a sister, Olive.
     The family suggests memorials be made to the Arthritis Foundation or to a favorite charity.

     Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
