Graveside services for Nannie R. Coleman, 97, of Emmett and
formerly of Nampa, who died Saturday, Sept. 29, in an Emmett
nursing home, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the
Melba Cemetery.
The Rev. Robert Morse of Emmett will officiate.
Friends may meet at the cemetery. Services are
under the direction of the Alsip Funeral Chapel, Nampa.
Mrs. Coleman was born July 10, 1887, in Clayton County,
Mo., where she was reared and educated. She
married Joe A. Coleman in 1904 in Missouri. In 1917 they
moved to Nampa and later to Melba where they farmed. In
1955 they moved to California.
In 1956 they returned to Nampa. Mr. Coleman died
in 1956. She continued to make her home in Nampa until
moving to Emmett in 1983. She was a member of the Nampa
First Assembly of God Church.
She is survived by several great nieces and nephews
among which are Mrs. Viola Fleck, Nampa and Mrs. Viola Fleck,
Nampa and Mrs. Caroline Lowther, Emmett.
Friends may call at the Alsip Funeral Chapel from 4 to
