Mary Durrant

    Mary Woodruff Moses Durrant, 94, of Parma, passed away peacefully, Saturday, September 30, 1995, at the Parma Ward, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  Bishop Ronald Atkinson will conduct the services.  Interment will follow at the Roswell Cemetery.  Services are under the direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel, Parma.
    Mary was born June 14, 1901, at Smithfield, Utah, a daughter of Jesse Tilton and Phoebe Arabell Moses.  She married Leon Alonzo Durrant September 12, 1923, in the Salt Lake City, Utah, Temple.  They moved to Montana in 1937 where they lived until coming to the Parma area where they farmed until 1951.  They served a mission for the L.D.S. Church in North Carolina in 1971 and 1972.  Mr. Durrant passed away January 3, 1984.
    Mary is survived by 10 children and their spouses; four sons, Harold of St. George, Utah, Ernest of Lakeside, Arizona, Wendell of Great Falls, Montana, and Don of Boise; six daughters, Helen Adams of Mesa, Arizona, Aletha Lee and Marjorie Robinson of St. Ignatius, Montana, Marilyn Cox of Simi Valley, California, Norene Robinson of Parma and Thelma Sharp of Provo, Utah; 59 grandchildren and numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Durrant; a daughter, Carol Rader; six brothers; two sisters; and a granddaughter.
    Friends may call at Dakan Funeral Chapel in Parma from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday evening and at the church from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Wednesday morning prior to services.
