Mrs. Mary Leavitt

    Services for Mrs. Mary Marie Leavitt, 58, of Homedale, who died Saturday will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tomorrow at the Peckham-Dakan-Davis Chapel. Bishop Howard Bergeson will officiate. Interment will be at Wilder.
     Mrs. Leavitt was born Oct. 8, 1905, at Mesquite, Nev. She grew up in Mesquite and was married to Franklin E. Leavitt, in St. George, Utah. They lived in Arizona and moved to Homedale in 1941, where they had since resided.
     Mr. Leavitt died in Homedale in 1958.
     Mrs. Leavitt was a member of the LDS Church.
      She is survived by eight sons, Eldon and Norman, both of Caldwell, Bobbie, Lester and Frank A., all of Homedale, Duane, Mesa, Wash., Ronald, Kearns, Utah, and Dale E., New Zealand; three stepsons, Lagrand, Homedale, John, Mesquite, Nev., and Leland, Anaheim, Calif.; four stepdaughters, Mrs. Mabel Waite, Anaheim, Calif., Mrs. Elda Langley, San Jose, Calif., Mrs. Lorna Reber, Littlefield, Ariz., and Mrs. Alice Bowler, Las Vegas, Nev.; her foster mother, Mrs. Selina Leavitt, Salt Lake City, Utah; two brothers, Faye Leavitt and Aaron Leavitt, and a sister, Mrs. Leora Reber, all of Mesquite, Nev.; seven grandchildren and 32 step-grandchildren.
