Mary Cochran

     Services for Mary J. Mansell Cochran, 79, of Notus, who died Friday, Jan. 3, in a Caldwell nursing home of natural causes, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Notus First Baptist Church.
     The Rev. Robert Obenchain will officiate, under the direction of the Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.  Burial will follow at the Lower Boise Cemetery, Parma.
     Mrs. Cochran, a homemaker, was born June 13, 1906, to James and Ida B. Mansell at Notus, where she was reared and educated.
     She married Chris Charles Cochran De. 4, 1927, at Notus.  She worked for the J.R. Simplot co. for several years.
     Mr. Cochran died in February of 1964.
     She was an active member of the Notus First Baptist Church.
     She is survived by two daughters, Ida Mae Adamson of New Plymouth and Mary Lou Ashcraft of Hebo, Ore.; a son, William "Bill" Cochran of Caldwell; a brother, Vestal Mansell of Boise; 10 grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
     She was preceeded in death by four brothers.
