Madison Dillon

    Funeral services for Madison H. "Harry" Dillon, 93, Caldwell, who died Sunday, June 10, in a Caldwell hospital will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 12, at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. Internment will follow in the Greenleaf Cemetery.
    Mr. Dillion was born Oct. 23, 1890, at Burr Oak, Kan., a son of Oscar Vernon and Rebecca Jane Rich Dillon. He was reared and educated in Burr Oak.
    He married Laura Hockett April 29, 1914, in Rooks County, Kan. The couple made their home in Jewel County, Kan., until August 1942, when they came to Greanleaf. He continued his career as a livestock dealer. Mrs. Dillon died May 28, 1962.
    In the early 1970's he moved to Caldwell. He married Fay John Watts April 23, 1978, in Caldwell. He was a member of the Greanleaf Branch Church and the Caldwell Senior Citizens.
    He is survived by his wife, of Caldwell; three sons, Dale M. Dillon and Richard V. Dillon, both of Boise, and Dallas P. Dillon, of Caldwell; a stepson, Mort Watts, of Caldwell; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Larry (Jeanette) Hawley of Nampa, and Mrs. Joe (Eileen) Arriaga of Caldwell; two sisters, Mrs. Edgar (Verda) Glovar of Burr Oak, Kan., and Mrs. Jack (Lula) Ellexson, of Centralia, Wash.; nine grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, three step-great-grandchildren, and numerous neices and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, a sister, and three grandchildren.
    Memorials may be made to the Greanleaf Academy, Greanleaf, Idaho, the Caldwell Senior Citizens League, Building Fund, Caldwell, Idaho, 0r to a favorite charity. Friends may call at the Flahiff Caldwell Chapel today from 6 p.m. until B p.m. and on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until 1p.m.
