Mary Adamson

     Funeral services for Mary B. Adamson, 94, of Caldwell, who died November 28, 1991, at a Caldwell Nursing Home, will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 2, 1991, at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.  Cameron Gepner of the Jehovah Witnesses will officiate.  Burial will follow at the Wilder Cemetery, Wilder, Idaho.
     Mrs. Adamson was born April 13, 1897 at Melford, Texas, a daughter of William and Medora Thrilkill Howard.  At a young age she moved with her family to Vian, Oklahoma where she was reared and educated.  At the age of 17 the whole family moved by train to Montana where they homesteaded out of Cut Bank.  She met and married Roxford Winfield "Win" Adamson on June 29, 1915 at Cut Bank, Montana.  The couple moved to Burns, Oregon in the later part of 1925 and then to Homedale in 1933 where they raised their family.  In 1973 the couple moved to the Lake Lowell area.  Mary had been a cook for many ranches throughout the Montana, Idaho and California areas.  Mr. Adamson died on July 27, 1975.
     She is survived by her five sons and daughters-in-law, Rocky and Irene of Dayton, Nevada, Bud and Carma of Valier, Montana, Carl and Noy of Hammett, Idaho, Homer and Louise of Caldwell and Max and Jeannie of King Hill, Idaho;  two brothers, Paul Howard of Creswell, Oregon and Jim Howard of Burns, Oregon;  28 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by a grandson, two great-grandsons and several sisters and brothers.
     Friends may call today from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Chapel, Caldwell.
