Althought the obituary below states she was
married in 1928, all evidence shows she was
actually married in 1920.

 

Mima English

     Graveside funeral services for Mima A. English, 83, of 1324 Rimview Dr., Caldwell, who died Tuesday in a Nampa nursing home of natural causes, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Wilder Cemetery, Wilder, by the Rev. Raymond A. Thompson of the United Methodist Church, Caldwell, under the direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
     She was born June 9, 1899, in Hooper, Neb. As a young girl she was postmistress at Sweetwater
, Neb. for several years. She moved to Wilder with her family in 1919. She married George W. English in Caldwell on May 12, 1928. They farmed in the Wilder area until his death on May 19, 1956. She moved to Caldwell where she has since resided. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
     She is survived by one brother, Forrest Cooper of Temple City, Calif. and several nieces and nephews.
      She was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.

     Memorials may be made to the Caldwell chapter of Meals on Wheels or flowers may be sent. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Dakan Funereal Chapel, Caldwell.
