Loree Davis

     Loree McProud Mabbott Davis died Dec. 11, 1995, at Hamilton, Montana.  Services will be held at the Methodist church in Corvallis, Montana, on Saturday, Dec. 16.  Graveside services will be conducted at the Middleton Cemetery, Middleton, Idaho, Wednesday, Dec. 20, at 1 p.m. by the Rebekah Lodge.
      Loree was born May 14, 1907, at Palisade, Colorado, the daughter of Phele turner and Orville C. McProud.
      She married Leonard H. Mabbott Nov. 24, 1926. They were divorced in 1940.  She married Allen Davis May 17, 1945.  They were later divorced.
      Her family moved from Colorado to Emmett, Idaho, in 1908.  They then moved to Prairie for five years.  They moved back to Emmett when their house was destroyed by fire.  She graduated from Emmett High School in 1925 and from Lewiston Normal in 1927.  She taught school in Middleton for 22 years.  In June of 1982, after 32 years of teaching, she retired to Corvallis, Montana.
      Survivors include a daughter, and two sons, Virginia and Bob Smyth of Corvallis, Montana, E.L. “Ike” and Joy Mabbott of Victor, Montana; 10 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
      She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Elbert McProud.
      The family suggests memorial contributions be made to a favorite charity.
