Lillian Campbell

      Graveside services for Lillian May Spiellman Campbell, 89, of Caldwell, who died Tuesday, Aug. 5, at the Caldwell hospital, were held today at 11 a.m. at the Middleton Cemetery.  The Rev. Mark Johnson of the Middleton Methodist Church officiated under the direction of the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
      Mrs. Campbell was born Jan. 9, 1897, at Kirksville, Mo., to E.B. and Mary Pritchard Spiellman.  She was reared and educated in Kirksville.  She moved to the Twin Falls area in 1919 and Later moved to Canyon County and lived in the Caldwell-Middleton area.
      She worked at the J.R. Simplot Co. from 1945 until 1957 as cafeteria supervisor.  She later worked for McCluskey’s Restaurant in Caldwell for several years.
      She enjoyed gardening, oil painting, raising flowers and raising registered dachshunds.
      She had been a member of the Rebecca’s Lodge.
      She is survived by a son, Richard S. Kenner of Middleton; two daughters, Thelma Jefcoat and Florence Meyers both of Caldwell; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
      She was preceded in death by two brothers, two sisters and a grandchild.
      Memorial may be made to the Mountain States Tumor Institute, Boise.
