Leonard Carter

     Graveside funeral services for Leonard G. Carter, 84, of Parma, who died Saturday at a Boise hospital, will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Parma Cemetery with the Rev. Paul Yadon of the United Pentecostal Church of Parma.
     He was born Feb. 2, 1895, in Merton, Minn.  He moved with his family to Tremonton, Utah, as a small boy.  He started school there and then moved with his family to California.  After a short while he then returned to Utah.  He then moved to Mountain Home and lived with his sister and her family.  He moved to the Roswell area where he farmed in the Big Bends and Ten Davis area.  He was a substitute mail carrier on Route 3 Parma until he became the regular mail carrier, where he served until his retirement in 1947.
     He is survived by three nieces and five nephews.
     Friends may call at the Dakan Funeral Chapel, Parma, today from 5 to 7 p.m.
