Lilburn W. (Tuck) Tucker

     Lilburn W. (Tuck) Tucker passed away in his sleep Thursday morning, Aug. 25, 2005 in Salem, Ore. He was born on Sept. 14,1919 to Guy and Ruth Tucker in Wilder, Idaho. He was raised in Greenleaf, Idaho and graduated from Greenleaf Friends Academy in 1938. He attended Pacific College, now George Fox University, for one year. He married Leona Timson on July 4, 1954 in Boise. He was a barber in Nampa for many years and also worked at Lowell Scott Junior High before his retirement in 1986. Tuck and Leona moved to Salem, Ore. in 2001.
    Tuck always had a smile on his face and it was well known that he would help whoever needed it. He enjoyed working in his woodshop building little gadgets and toys that gave many children hours of pleasure. He and his family spent many summer weekends camping with friends, He especially enjoyed fishing and could catch the best trout when no one else seemed able to.
    He is survived by his wife Leona Tucker; son Chuck Tucker of Boise; daughter and son-in-law Mona and Wayne Breach of Salem, Ore.; and seven grandsons. His mother, father and 2 sisters preceeded him in death. There will be a memorial service at Foothills Christian Church, Boise, Sunday Sept. 4, 2005 at 4p.m. A private graveside service will be held earlier. Contibutions may be made to Greenleaf Friends Academy.
