Lester Farman |
Services for
Lester W. Farman, 73, Caldwell, formerly of Parma, who died
Friday, Dec. 14 at a Caldwell hospital, will be conducted at 1
p.m. Tuesday at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
Father John Koelsch of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Caldwell,
will officiate. Interment will follow at the Greenleaf
Cemetery.
He was born Feb. 13, 1911 at West Plains, mo. He moved
with his family to Gillette, Wyo., as a child. He lived
in Wyoming until 1941 when he moved to Oregon and later to
California.
In 1946 he moved to Caldwell. In 1970 he moved to Route
3 Parma where he lived until June of 1984 when he returned to
Caldwell. He loved the outdoors and raising rabbits.
He is survived by eight brothers, Lawrence A. Farman,
Seattle, Wash., Otto Farman, Emmett, Paul Farman, Cody, Wyo.,
Elden Farman, Sheridan, Wyo., Cecil Farman, Everett, Wash.,
Fred Jeffries, Los Angeles, Calif, Warren Jeffries,
Louisville, Ky., and Bernard "Don" Hurley, Fruitland; three
sisters, Elsie Barbieri, Gold Bar, Wash., Ellen Yates,
Caldwell, and Verna Puntenney, Fruitland. He is also
survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call at Flahiff Chapel, Caldwell, Monday from 4
until 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the time of
services. Memorials may be made to the Idaho Heart
Association or to a favorite charity. |
