Services for Katie Bell Hinkle, 62, of Wilder, who died
Friday in a local hospital, will be conducted at 2 p.m.
Tomorrow at the Peckham-Dakan-Davis Chapel. The Rev. James
Nielson will officiate. Interment will be in Wilder.
Mrs. Hinkle was born Oct. 15, 1901, at Wagoner, Okla.
She grew up in the Indian Territory town of Wagoner and was
married to King A. K. Hinkle, April 5, 1919, in Wagoner. They
lived near Joy and Grove, Okla., before coming to Wilder in
1948, where they had since resided. She had been employed by
the J. R. Simplot Co., for the past 12 years.
She was a past member of the Presbyterian Church in
Locust Grove, Okla.
Survivors include her husband, of Caldwell; six sons,
Stanley and Clyde, Parma, Lloyd, Houston, Tex., Charles and
Curtis, Caldwell, and Lester, in the Air Force in Cheyenne,
Wyo.; a daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Benigar, Wilder; two
brothers, George N. Lane, Hood River, Ore., and J. S. Lane,
Adair, Okla., and 19 grandchildren. A son, George, and a
daughter, Ruby, preceded her in death. |
