Jose Bernal Sr.

    Rosary For Jose Bernal Sr., 62, of Greeley, Colo., who died Wednesday, Feb. 11, at home, will be recited today at 7 p.m. at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel of Nampa.
    Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Nampa.  The Rev. Merle L. Fisher, S.M., of St. Paul's Catholic Church will be officiate.
    Mr. Bernal was born Oct5. 10, 1924, in Jalisco, Mexico, and was reared there.  He moved as a young man to Texas.
    He married Estella Taylor there in 1950.
    He worked as a farm laborer and they lived in several areas in Texas, Arizona, Oregon and Idaho.  He had lived and worked in the Greeley area in recent years.
    He was a member of the Catholic Church.
    He is survived by his wife of Caldwell; five sons, Jose Bernal Jr. of Nampa, John, Robert and Rodney Bernal, all of Caldwell; Alfred Bernal of Warner Robins, Ga.; six daughters, Maria "Trini" Mendoza of Payette, Ida Penchaca, Sally Baird, Tammy, Shanna, and Anita Bernal, all of Caldwell; 20 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
