Joseph Condelario

      Rosary for Joseph William Condelario, 71, of Sand Hollow, who died Tuesday, Jan. 12, 1988, at home of natural causes, will be recited at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 14, at the Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.  Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 15, at the Middleton Cemetery, Middleton.  Father Raul Covarrubias of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Caldwell, will officiate.
      Mr. Condelario was born March 5, 1916, to Pete and Nancy Moran Condelario at
Martin, S.D., where he was raised and educated.  He married Irene “Tiny” Richards March 2, 1940, at Rushville, Neb. He served in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific Theater from 1942 to 1945 during World War II.
      They lived in Caspar, Wyo., for a number of years where he worked as a cabinetmaker.  In 1960 they moved to Burns,
Ore., where he worked for the Malheur Job Corps Center.  In 1969 they moved to Sand Hollow, where they owned and operated the Oasis Shelter Home.
      Survivors include his wife, Irene of Sand Hollow; a daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Lorin Wallace of Sand Hollow; two brothers, Bernard Condelario of Wyoming and Pete Condelario of Washington; three sisters, Margaret Vandering of
North Carolina, Lucille Moore of Arizona and Bertha Pourier of Nebraska; and two grandchildren, Tammy and Brian.
      He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and a sister.
