  CALLED TO REWARD

      Funeral services for Judson M. Taggart, 72, who died Wednesday, October 8, at the home of his son, Orval Taggart of Notus, were held Thursday morning at the Baptist church of Wilder with the Rev. Nicely in charge.  Interment was in the Wilder cemetery.
     Mr. Taggart left Indiana to come to Vale, Ore., in 1898.  He came to the Wilder district in 1908 and has been a resident of that community since.  Death came after an illness of three weeks.
     Surviving him are his widow and one son, seven grandchildren, three brothers, and one sister.
