Services for John B.
Clemmons, 59, Homedale, who died Wednesday in a local
hospital, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at
Peckham-Dakan-Davis Chapel. The Rev. Harold N. Nye of
the Caldwell First Methodist Church will officiate.
Interment will be in the Wilder Cemetery.
Mr. Clemmons was born Sept. 8, 1900 at Russelville,
Ark., where he grew up. He married Estelle Owens on Jan.
10, 1925, in Clarksville, Ark. The couple lived in
Arizona and California before moving in Homedale in 1950,
where they have since resided.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, Mrs. Estelle
Clemmons, Homedale, include two daughters, Wanda Louise Sloan,
Wister, Okla., and Rose Lee Self of Homedale, and eight
grandchildren. |
